As an owner with Diamond Resorts International®, you are in complete control of your travel-planning needs. This includes controlling the use of information you provide certain data to Diamond Resorts International®.

The bottom line is that we respect and will continue to respect the privacy of our customers who choose Diamond Resorts International®.

Because protecting your privacy is important to us, Diamond Resorts International® has implemented a data protection policy so that you fully understand:

What personal information is held by Diamond Resorts International® and how is this information being used?


When you become a Diamond Resorts International® owner, you provide your name, address, telephone number and e-mail address as part of our registration process to create a unique login name and password. This information is collected on the registration form for several reasons including: (i) personal identification; (ii) to complete reservations, save points, make payments; (iii) to allow us to contact you for customer service, if necessary; and (iv) to customize the content of our site to meet your specific needs. In addition, your e-mail address is collected to send you an e-mail message confirming your new registration and each savings request, payment or reservation you transact online. As a member you will occasionally receive updates from us about discounted availability, special offers, new services and products which may be of interest to you and other noteworthy news items.

This information may be provided by letter, email, telephone or any other reasonable means of communication. If you do not wish to receive such information, please notify us:

Owner Profile

Owners can choose to provide Diamond Resorts International® with credit-card information. This information is primarily used to assist owners in making payments quickly without having to type in the same information repeatedly.


Diamond Resorts International® frequently sponsors contests to give owners the opportunity to win great travel prizes. Information collected by Diamond Resorts International® for such contests can include contact information and survey questions. Contact information is used to notify contest winners, and survey information is used to develop promotions and product improvements to Diamond Resorts International®.

Online Surveys

Diamond Resorts International® values opinions and comments from owners so we frequently conduct online surveys. These surveys are entirely optional for all owners. Typically, the information is aggregated and used to make improvements to Diamond Resorts International® products and services and to develop appealing content, features and promotions for owners. Survey participants are anonymous unless otherwise stated in the survey.

IP Addresses

Diamond Resorts International® collects IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and for system administration.

Who will the information be shared with, if anyone?

Our affiliates include companies that are subsidiaries and affiliates of Diamond Resorts Corporation and Diamond Resorts (Europe) Limited. Your information may be shared with any of our affiliates. Other than to Interval International Inc. and its subsidiaries, data will not be made available to companies outside our group for marketing purposes although it may be necessary, from time to time, to release information about you (including sensitive information such as a medical condition, disability or a dietary requirement) to external suppliers such as airlines/car hire companies to enable a comprehensive service to be provided to you and to process the transaction information. Please also be advised that all airlines are now required by laws introduced in the US and other countries to give cross border control agencies access to customer data. Accordingly any information held about you and your travel arrangements may be disclosed to the customs and immigration authorities of any country in your itinerary. The data of European Members of THE Club® may also be supplied to First National Trustee Company Limited, an Isle of Man based company (whose details are set out in the Deed of Trust) in order to enable it to perform its supervisory and regulatory functions. We do not sell individual customer names or other private profile information to third parties and have no intention of doing so in the future. Occasionally, Diamond Resorts International® will hire a third party to act on our behalf for projects such as market-research surveys and contest-entry processing and will provide information to these third parties specifically for use in connection with these projects. The information we provide to such third parties is protected by a confidentiality agreement ensuring that it is used solely for completing the specific project. What safeguards are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your information?

The data provided by you will be treated as confidential and security measures have been implemented to prevent unauthorized processing. All information you provide to Diamond Resorts International® is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. While we endeavor to maintain the confidentiality of all material submitted that is marked as confidential by the submitter, we cannot accept, and hereby expressly disclaim any liability from losses relating to the unauthorized disclosure or interception via the Internet of any information that you submit.

What other information should I know about my privacy?

In addition to the circumstances described above, Diamond Resorts International® may disclose owner information if required to do so by law, court order, as requested by other government or law enforcement authority. Diamond Resorts International® may also disclose owner information, if, in good faith, we belief that disclosure is necessary or advisable including, without limitation, to protect the rights or properties of Diamond Resorts International® or in order to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing interference with our rights or properties, whether intentionally or otherwise, or when anyone else could be harmed by such activities. Any material changes in the way Diamond Resorts International® uses personal information will be described in future versions of this Privacy Policy. Of course, you may always submit concerns regarding our Privacy Policy or our privacy practices to THEClub@diamondresorts.com. Please reference the Privacy Policy in your subject line. Diamond Resorts International® will attempt to respond to all reasonable concerns or inquiries within five business days of receipt. RESORT POLICIES            Top

Thank you for choosing Cabo Azul Resort as your vacation destination. Please take a moment to read this notice; it will help make your stay more enjoyable. Any vehicle parked on property without a permit will be towed at owner’s expense.

We respectfully point out that all villas are non-smoking villas. We request that you and your guests do not smoke in the villa. We are required to charge $150.00USD cleaning fee should this policy be violated. Management is required per the policy, to charge $125.00USD per day, per person for each day occupancy exceeds villa limits. You may also be asked to vacate your villa should this policy be violated.

Resort quiet hours are from 10:00pm to 8:00am. As a courtesy to others please do not use whirlpool jets during these hours and keep noise to a minimum. Radios or music players may only be used with headsets, but in any case prohibited in or near the pools and spas. No glass containers, ice chests or outside food/beverages are allowed in the pool areas. Any personal articles left at the pool areas are left at your own risk. Footwear and cover-ups are required in all public areas.

We all love pets, but only certified service animals are permitted. Anyone who brings a pet or pets to the resort will be asked to remove the said pet or pets immediately, and be charged $50.00USD per day, per pet.

Please refrain from placing items on the balcony railings. Inventory sheets are located inside your villa. Upon entering the villa, please review and immediately report any missing or damaged items.

An adult must supervise children under the age of 14 at all times while using the resort facilities. If we may be of assistance to you during your stay, please do not hesitate to ask.

Children under the age of fourteen (14) must be accompanied by an adult in and around the pool area. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring children’s behavior in and around the pool area. Pool / Beach furniture may not be reserved in advance. Food, Beverages, glass containers, coolers and music devices with external speakers are not allowed in these areas. Pool hours: 8:00 AM to 10:30 PM, no excessive or improper noise allowed after 10:00 pm. Towels: Please do not remove towels from your villa, towels will be provided to you at the pool area. Missing towels from villa will be added to your bill at check out.

Missing or damaged utensils, furniture, equipment, etc will be charged to your account. Clothes and personal items are not allowed to be hung on the balconies. Pets are not allowed at any time on the resort or in the rooms.

For health and safety reasons, no children under the age of sixteen (16) years shall be permitted in the spas without a parent or guardian present at all times. No children under the age of seven (7) years are allowed in any spa at any time. NOTE: Prolonged exposure to hot water may result in nausea, dizziness, or fainting. Immersion while under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or medication may lead to serious physical problems and conditions, and is not recommended.

Cabo Azul Resort’s beach is always at the “red” flag warning, meaning we have undercurrents in front of the resort too strong for casual swimming and it is not recommended. Swim at your own risk.

You must be sixteen (16) years or older for use of the fitness facilities. Proper shoes and attire must be worn in the fitness room. Fitness room hours are 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

Resort is in no way liable for any injuries sustained by owners/exchangers/guests while using any resort amenities, activity items, fitness room, etc.

Open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, closed on Thursdays. For sales tours, no charge. For guests, $10 per hour per child.
